In (DU) was over last year when DU Colleges came out with cut-off lists based upon the Class 12 Board scores. DU authorities still
thought there was more room for
changes which could ease the burden
caused by by students filling up forms for colleges which donot even match their percentages.
The first major change 2012 could see is the fact that after the declaration of a cut-off list, only two days will be allotted for admission based on that cut-off list and a gap of one day after which the next cut off is announced. Till the last year, four days were given for admissions based on each cut-off list.
To nullify this effect, the High-
Powered Committee setup to review
the undergraduate admission
process, has suggested that colleges
can come up with eight to ten cut off
lists in case they are not able to admit enough students.
