Reserve Bank of India announced Young Scholar awards 2012. The announcement of scholarship is aimed to generate interest in Public Sector Banks and to gain some knowlege in Banking service. This scholarship involves competetive exam followed by a project in any bank. The question paper will be in English and also availabel in regional languages. Selected candidates will be asked to work on projects in selected offices of RBI for two to three months and will be paid a consolidated stipend of Rs. 7500/- per month during the duration of the project. Students of age between 18 to 23 are eligible to apply. Application is available at free of cost. Selection test will be held on Jan 9 2012 and results will be announced on the middle of march 2012. Intrested canditates can apply before 22nd oct 2011.
