After all the confusions Anna University has made a full stop for this by announcing a complete revised timetable today on 8th may 2012.
As per the revised timetable, all exams are just as mentioned in second revised timetable but 3rd semester exams are postponed to june. Transforms and partial differential equation is postponed to 16th june 2012

My name is V.M.Maruthi Srivatsan, i have completed my diploma in Pulp and Paper Technology at Seshasayee Institute Of Technology, trichy. I would like to join B.Tech Chemical Engg. through lateral entry, my overall CGPA is 89.17% in diploma. May i kindly know the list of colleges offering chemical engineering through lateral entry, coming under anna university control??? And also, can i know whether, i can get placed in any of the top colleges with this mark?and i belong to the caste OC

The very first thing i want to say is that, for lateral entry counselling, they won't see your overall percentage. They will just look at your last two semester percentages(i.e, 5th and 6th semester). You want to join in B.Tech Chemical but there is a list in counselling book showing diploma to B.E/B.Tech eligible courses. If it is satisfied then you can join B.Tech Chemical. Kindly wait few days, we will update the list here in our site for you. Tamilnadu B.E/B.Tech Lateral Entry Counselling 2012: A Smart Guide
Well, thanks for being here to gain information about lateral entry counseling 2012. Actually this site is dedicated for bringing educational news to the students of India. Now it comes to lateral entry counselling. Are you in thinking that lateral entry counselling is by Anna University? Actually yes but the complete process is under the hands of Alagappa Cheittiar Engineering College(ACCET in short).
Counselling for 1st year admission and lateral entry admission would happen in similar days. To avoid rush and other administrative reasons lateral entry counselling is usually held at ACCET karaikudi which is located at south of tamilnadu.
Polytechnic students are requested to listen to this: Apply for lateral entry counselling only when you are confident of getting 75+ percentage in 5th and 6th semester, otherwise management admission is the only way. We could not predict the college by your percentage as there are tremendous changes in 2011 and 2010 counselling. If you have any doubt other than this, please feel free to ask it to us through comment box or else mail us at anand522667@gmail.com

Why no chat room feature in nimbuzz for android phones?
The chatroom feature is just available on Nimbuzz Mobile for Symbian, Java devices and PC.
Due to shifting priorities and more focus on improving the voice and IM (non-chatroom) experience we don’t have any plans on the short or mid term on other platforms.
We will review the possibilities this year but for now there are no plans.
