Now it comes to lateral entry counselling. Are you in thinking that lateral entry counselling is by Anna University? Actually yes but the complete process is under the hands of Alagappa Cheittiar Engineering College(ACCET in short).
Counselling for 1st year admission and lateral entry admission would happen in similar days. To avoid rush and other administrative reasons lateral entry counselling is usually held at ACCET karaikudi which is located at south of tamilnadu.
Polytechnic students are requested to listen to this: Apply for lateral entry counselling only when you are confident of getting 75+ percentage in 5th and 6th semester, otherwise management admission is the only way. We could not predict the college by your percentage as there are tremendous changes in 2011 and 2010 counselling.
