My name is V.M.Maruthi Srivatsan, i have completed my diploma in Pulp and Paper Technology at Seshasayee Institute Of Technology, trichy. I would like to join B.Tech Chemical Engg. through lateral entry, my overall CGPA is 89.17% in diploma. May i kindly know the list of colleges offering chemical engineering through lateral entry, coming under anna university control??? And also, can i know whether, i can get placed in any of the top colleges with this mark?and i belong to the caste OC

The very first thing i want to say is that, for lateral entry counselling, they won't see your overall percentage. They will just look at your last two semester percentages(i.e, 5th and 6th semester). You want to join in B.Tech Chemical but there is a list in counselling book showing diploma to B.E/B.Tech eligible courses. If it is satisfied then you can join B.Tech Chemical. Kindly wait few days, we will update the list here in our site for you. Sir My brother applied lateral entry b.e for anna university through online download application form.his diploma in mech registration number is 10216868.he didnt yet have acknoledgement card.So any procedure there to know the application status.Please Reply me sir
